A pair of Chinese porcelain, octagonal plates, dating to the 18th Century (Qianlong period). Painted in underglaze blue and white, and Famille Rose enamels, with a central design of a lakeside landscape with buildings and boat, with a floral border. Measuring 8.75 across. One has a starcrack to the centre and the other has a hairline at the rim, with an old, staple repair. Both have minor rim frits (see photos).
